North Tyneside Sensory Service at Beacon Hill use the nationally recognised National Sensory Impairment Partnership (NATSIP) Eligibility Framework to determine levels of provision for children and young people with sensory impairment.
The framework ensures equality of access to the service and uses a points system to determine which category of support a child is entitled to, where A is the most support, and E the least.
The framework is reviewed annually to reflect any changes in circumstance for the child or young person.
